I came across these while i was moving house, some pics i took when i lived down this way and i was doing photography at school(long time ago). Mate gave me a lend of a scanner to scan the negatives in to produce these digital images, came out better than expected.

I can't tell who's who. Is that Buzzy on the good ol Sailworks sail?? And the good old "you beaut" Tops Sails, nice and cheap and fall apart in a season! Looked like Russ on the Pryde sail and what's his name, the blonde guy that worked at YD on the Tops Sail??

Is that Dave on the pink Gaastra? I dont think thats me with Sailworks, but I'm not positive. Jez, is the date on the photos correct? If it is then it definately isn't me, although if its supposed to say '97 then it could be. It probably should say '97 then it would explain why Russ is using a NP sail. And if it is supposed to say '97 then I hope your Photography teacher failed you!!!!!!

Like buzzy; I not sure that is me. I remember owning that board with those lighweight straps but that sail does not rig a bell unless it was a YD demo?? If that is me i'm a little larger these days the more i look at the photo's I think it is me. Cheers Russ Buzzy do you think that photo is Guy Able?? The top sail is Tony from YD

Hey Russ! Yeh I did think it was an Able whenI looked at the photos. The board doesnt ring a bell and I dont remember having a wavesail in that colour, also from '96 I was using Ezzy. That is def you Russ and yes you have indulged in the good life at tad bit since then, as we all have.(Jodi reconds it Guy too)

Cant be bothered looking for piccies at the mo! But heres a little vid from Goats about 8 years ago. Riding a 95 litre Exocet original wave, definately not the best throw around board but the vid might give everyone an idea of how much fun Goats can be.

How embarrassing, Robby's race sail ending up on plastic Bombora. Even worse , Dave using it.

Actually, Jarney had a yellow & blue Sailworks Revo....could it be him in his spider man days??? I had a Revo like that and that was 93/94, so the year must be around then.

Nice pictures Dave. That broken boom back in the day cost a few weeks savings. We will have to have a wave day again in summer just to see how we go Cheers Russ

A few snaps from the first year we sailed at Stanley as part of the state champs I think! They are, Greg England T2, Steve With the gaffa tape X,me on Steve's board in one shot, Chris and me on the blue Bombora thing with the red Pryde. The Inlet was great back then before the three diferent chanels appeared.

Awesome photos bear. Wonder what speeds would of been done now, if it was still like that. Dad said it basically was a nm run at one point.

Great photos Bear. We've had some awesome racing there over the years. Not sure where I was, maybe there, but just not in the photos?
