Wonder where this will go, maybe the control could mount on a SUP paddle and be BOP style racing.

if anyone knows Glenn Turner from Newcastle he made a electric sup (iv used it so fun!) but he took it out in the surf went unreal till it flipped and lost the battery haha.

but these are insane!

Argh, should have known DJ would be on to it Pete. Something tells me if money gets thrown at this the top surfers and even some SUprs might jump on the opportunity. I'm not keen on motorised craft around shore/ reef breaks either, but everyone is equal on the ocean as long as the show respect for each other.

could they use those things to ride big waves?would be handy for surf rescue to i rekon.Like other have said wouldnt like to see them at the local break

Well, I don't want to have to dry the sparkplugs after a big wipeout...


Obviously, the problem of all these crafts are the noise and the smell. The only time I found JetSkis were bearable was during a good overhead day at Hossegor, the noise of the crashing waves was so loud that it covered the noise of a very good jetski rider that was surfing the waves with us.

US$12,500 makes it an expensive toy.
