Hey SP,
If you hang out until early afternoon it should come around to west and get a pretty good ride in shoalwater bay, launch mclarty st car park.
Even if it stays nw anywhere along arcadia drive will be good.
Palm beach is ok for true north
BEWARE if leaving anything of value in your car at crystals or anywhere at pt peron.

Had a plan to sail .......
After Chris had 53kn on his meter (not a gust BTW, steady, and twice in 5mins also) I was a bit concerned.
Went down with intentions of sailing and saw blokes maxed on 3.7 and getting smashed sometimes, and I only have 4.2

Waited for lulls............ never happened!

Still dry

By the time I knocked of work my 1 hr window of opportunity disappeared as the wind swung and plumetted.

Huge storm surge

I couldn't make Pea and Ham soup so I got some milk instead

I went to Safety Bay and it was great with 4.7m2 x 85 l.. Full on from 4 to 6pm! I thought Shoalwater would have been too onshore, but by reading the above and seeing the pics on the other thread it seems it was also great!.
