I dont understand the logic?
Mabe your testing to see if the mass produced etched cnc machined fin is within .001? (set up a dial guage.....) I understand the jig but not the outcome your achieving.
What is the goal or outcome you are trying to produce?

I believe he's made the jig to rebox fins, should the need arise.
