Isnt low tide at Rosebud 6:30 tomorrow? Should be good tide for most of the day - I will be there from 9am, looks stronger further south than up the bay.

Gnotuk St Aspendale, just south of the train station off Nepean Hwy.
Franga can be good, especially with a touch of west in the northerly, not as reliable for wind as Rosebud but being local Ive had some awesome sessions there.

Desperately needed a kite to try new board today after not having had a kite for weeks - drove down to point henry, which was terrible and ended up taking the ferry across to rosebud where I got about an hour in. Was definitely blowing stronger in Rosebud than it was on the other side of the bay. I'm going to aim to head down again to Rosebud tomorrow, anyone in and around Yarraville is welcome to catch a lift

Hi everybody

Although I have upcoming exams, I can't afford to miss tomorrow's wind. The forecast showed that tomorrow is the best wind but since it's pure northerly I have to cross all the way to Rosebud. I live in the Western suburb and public transport will take me around 2 x 3.5 hours. I would be grateful and happy to pay all the trip cost if somebody give me a lift at any time and from any train station they like. I am free all day and hope that we get 4 hours at least in the water for such long trip. I am beginner by the way able to ride upwind and trying to learn new moves.

Chino, I'm not sure if I can help. I am going to use my smallest kite size tomorrow which is 9m Switchblade. I have two other Cabrinha kites; 12m Switchblade and 11m Crossbow. I am 78kg and I think you will be overpowered in these. Anyway, I would be happy to lend them tomorrow or sell them if you are interested.

Cheers

It wasn't as good as forecast, but still a great day - South Channel wind graph says it all.
Started on a 12m >> 7m >>9m. Tide and direction at Rosebud was perfect. 4hrs is all I could manage but I am sure others did more.
