Where is the best place to windsurf on port phillip bay???
Im going there these xmas holidays so it is worth taking my gear over? and if so what sort of gear

try greens point - end of south road at beach road hampton. Carries north, south, south west and even westerlies.
also albert park - on beach road, north of stkilda marina loads of kiters (40+)
there are other spots further south and also on the west...

Let us know which suburb you're staying - i'll find closest one if you like.

go to sandy point - awesome place - must for speed and sailing freaks.......

Gear is same as seabreeze here really - occaisonal smaller sail for big days, 4.5 maybe.....

Thanks, im staying at mornington, close to the morningotn yacht club and maby geelong for a few days

haven't found a lot out about areas, try around dromana or rosebud areas - apparently there is a secret flat water spot there too. I'm told that beaches take the north and the south breeze, but some will undoubtly be better than others. good luck!!
