Any one kited up there? Looks like a good lagoon system behind the reef that could offer flat water on a SW seabreeze. Going up that way in 2 weeks. Is there any beach camping in the area? Is the Hut river alright to kite in looks pink in the photos, too salty?

cheers

Better to go to Coronations, also a very good camping spot.

Going there as well for a few days. Planing a slow drive up and down the coast for a couple of weeks. Corros is a great spot. Was wondering what horrocks would be like with the finging reef on the out side it looked like a joy flat water spot. Will find out very soon.

Cheers shane

I agree, Horrocks looks amazing. I was there only once, in a 40 knotter, and it was still pretty damn flat.
Don't bother with their golf course though......

i have windsurfed there heaps, wood be good, water is flat n protected...
if u get a good westerly go to kalbarri n hit the river, there is a big spit which makes the water flat as glass. there is even a small island full of pelicans u can jump over.
just dont f*%k up cos if u get dragged downwind u end up with a heap of crayboats and yachts
