i have just finnished my testing on the new spreader bar from slingshot. it realy is hard to fault this spreader bar, the best thing i feel about it is that your saftey system is built into the spreader bar, now i can try out any kites with any funky safty systems that are out nowdays and not have to worry about it because its all on me, and its simple. throughout our trip to cocos islands a month or so ago (the best kite destination by the way!) it never failed me. allthough one time when i kooked out and was dragged out through the shallows the hook released (my fault). rolls and kite loops are good with the spinning leash as you dont have to roll the other way to untangle the leash and lines. bars can be ordered through choicey and are by far the best 150 dollars spent. i highly recomend it to anyone that wants a simple, relyable saftey system, even if you dont ride slingshot.
