Can anyone tell me of a suitable off the shelf glue for re-sealing valve seats to bladder material? I live in a remote location and don't have access to kite shops for supplies.

The Pattex glue is made by a company called Henkel. The 'glue' is a transparent contact cement. The tube is yellow/white/black. Smear it on both surfaces, wait until touch dry (10-20 minutes) then stick surfaces together. It used to come in earlier kites as part of the reapir kit but since the advent of sticky-back patches it's kinda disappeared. I've seen it in hardware stores but don't know if any of the kitesurfing shops supply it. Good luck,
