This is an unpaid, unsolicited, totally voluntary report & posting. I have no association with the organization I will refer to in this posting except as a satisfied customer & they have no notice of my intention to make this report.
Approximately 6 months ago I posted a negative feedback report after some poor service from a NSW kiteboarding school I had booked a lesson at. It's only fair that I also give credit when due to good service recently received.
I had tried to book lessons in Melbourne recently but due to heavy weekend bookings at the Melbourne kiteboarding centers & short notice due to my work timetable I was unsuccessful. For this reason I contacted Goshen @ Kitepower Geelong & made a booking for 2 of us for Saturday 18 Dec for Level 1 lessons at Geelong. The service we received was excellent.
Our Instructor was Bruce Muir. This gentleman is knowledgeable, helpful, entertaining, patient & a pleasure to learn from. By the end of the afternoon the old guy (me) was mentally & physically exhausted & even though, relatively speaking, my progress wasn't too impressive I had learned lots & wasn't at all discouraged. Bruce has a positive & encouraging style that would leave even a duffer like me inspired. On the other hand, the fit young gun, Noel, had progressed to riding the board & changing direction in one lesson & had a grin from ear to ear. Bruce is familiar with countless suitable uncrowded training sites in the area that suit every wind direction and because of the number of sites that face almost every point of the compass (take a look at a map of the Geelong area coastline) the likelihood of getting a lesson on any given day is probably better than the sites around Melbourne. We had driven 300 km for our lesson & the extra few km to Geelong was well worth it. I'd like to thank Kitepower Geelong and in particular our Instructor, Bruce for their professionalism & a truly fantastic effort. We wholeheartedly recommend this organization. Thanks again guys.

Those guys are on to it...my experience with the guys at KP Geelong has always been positive.

Definately recommend them in VIC, for all kite related stuff.
