hello i would like to come to tas for kiteboarding, the 16 january, can you tell me where its good for wind and wave at this period...and want to know where people kite, and meet some kiteboarders...

In the north of the state Green Beach (close to the mouth of the tamar river), in the north west Port Sorrel.
Make sure you bring a huge kite as the there will be afternoon seabreezes but are very light. If you dont mind gusty conditions bring a small kite for the roaring 40's...

Hey Jeremie I live in Coles Bay on the East Coast of Tas and am kiting 3-4 times a week at the moment has been really windy lately, check out friendly beaches on www.kitebeaches.com we have lots of good seabreezes at the moment and waves. I am into spring suit now for summer water is pretty good, you should be able to score some wind at Marrawah as well at this time of the year if it is NE however stanley has some great spots.
