Nobby's Beach is a favourite for local newy kiters. It offers flat water at the end of the beach under the light house north end of the beach, and normally some waves towards the south end. Good wide sand beach for launching and swimmers and beach goers normally stick to the south end of the beach. It is a bit of a walk to the end and in the middle of the beach there is a reef that can be exposed during low tide. Best in a NE (cross on)and when the wind is on, there is always a group there.

This is my local spot, but wont be there this weekend, return home on Saturday night from Perth holiday.

If it is a southerly wind try caves beach.
There is a caravan park right next to a kite launch area.

or if it is a NE wind you have the option of a short drive to blacksmiths beach/swansea channel (on an outgoing tide)
