Yeh I just finished my lessons with WAsurf but still have to purchase my own gear..Have a couple of friends who are keen to get into it but are taking their sweet time to do something about it.

Once I've got the gear I'll reply to your msg and meet ya down at the beach sometime..Pretty handy to have someone to go with to help with launching and the landing side of things..

I'm saving up to buy a North package from WAsurf and wanna get the gear asap so I don't lose touch with what I've learnt thus far if you know what I mean..

wishing u guys luck on the water so watch out 4 the wind and show some respect 4 the rules ie the big 50m from swimmers . the other kiters will show respect back if they see u playing by the rules ,good luck

Yeahh, BBQ and a couple of chilly Millies sounds good. Lets find out if anyone in this forum is interested. Unfortunately I will be out of town this weekend but any afternoon sounds good to me.
When it comes to a kite, it is a personal preference what you want. Take in consideration what kind of kiting you want to do and your weight. I bought a second hand one. If you buy one, just in case you don't like it or you want to upgrade at some point in time or you trash it, it's worth spending a little less $$$ and then buy new or another one.

Im also a beginner and looking for people like me.I at the moment learing to jump. I moving to Fremantle tomorrow to kitesurf around there for a week or so. But later I really like to go on a kitetrip up North.Anyone like to join? I dont have a car, but maby you do, or we get one or rent one.

I`m about to start lessons at WAsurf and i`ve saved the dough to buy all my gear. I should be ready to rock in a few weeks. I live and work in the city so an afterwork session is usually easy. I`ve been waiting to try kitesurfing for years and I`ve just been forced to give up motorcycle racing after a few nasty injuries. I`ve been in oz since moving from Victoria, BC in 08.

If you want another rookie Canuck to get out kiting with give me a shout.

Myself and a couple of others that have replied on this forum went to Saftey Bay today and we are planing on going to Coogie Beach tomorrow around noon. Anybody interested in going and joining us is welcome. We are all learning to kite, no expectations from anybody. Just having some fun.

we'll have to get together (non kiting) so we know who each other is.

Some of us had some good times out on the water today. Winds were variable but didn't stop us from having a great session on Coogie Beach.

Just to let you know that anybody who has replied to my original post here, is muchly appreciated. Keep it going. I have been in contact and kiting with some awesome Newb's who all have the same goal in mind, learn and improve with kitesurfing.

Hey, another newbie here. I'm definately keen to find some buddies to kite with . . . .

I have had a couple of lessons and want to go out more but none of my friends are really interested... i have my own gear and work away so i have days off. i live in freo and would be keen to get out for a kite ASAP.
