Hi All I now this subject has been done many times before, But I just got a new paddle and was wondering what size you are running (above you head) for a paddle just for surfing waves.Last time I tried to go longer again and it killed my shoulder...I am 182cm tall and the paddle I use the most is about 196cm so thats 14cm on a 8'10 board so I am standing almost at water level.. I am seeing some very long paddles and some short.thanks again Rod
My surf paddle is 5" above my head. It works well for me. I have been thinking of shorting it some more, but as it stands, it allows me to use it with different volume boards
