Hi,
Have recently taken up kiting and am loving it, progressing quickly starting to perform jumps and going out in the surf. I have had a problem with the kite inverting when i let the bar right out. Origianally i thought it was due to too much centre line pressure(lots of depower line pulled on in heavy breeze) but the last time i went out it happened again with no depower line on in lighter wind. Not sure if it is me flying it or a setup problem any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2006 12 m Best Waroo.

Cheers
Jack

first reason is under inflation. Pump it up hard. very hard.

ral inn is right, i had the same problem with my 07 best particularly when the kite accelerates through the power zone... pump it up harder and notice when it happens and try to avoid those situations.. ie. stronger winds, lots of depower / no back line tension, going through the power zone / lots of load on the lines

Don't let your bar go when the kite is powered.

The airflow over the leading edge gets disrupted and causes the inversion.

You have no control of a kite if you let the bar go.

You only need to push the bar away enough to release the power. Keep hold of the bar to control the kite and avoid inversion.
