Deck slip

Put deck grip on my new stick last xmas and it has gone slippery already, does not appear ant different , anyone know of a corrective treatment

Yeah there are some dud grips around that wear smooth , attack it with some heavy grit sand paper or wax it .

Yeah I had the same problem.

Two other mates used the same grip (including Piros)and we have all had the same problem.

My pad went smooth and soft as well, so after almost pulling a hammy from slipping off on a wave, I peeled it off and put a more popular brand of deckgrip with a more aggresive pattern and deeper groves and all is good now.

My advice is to stick to more well known brands

Tried sandpaper and it only killed the pad and made it worse.

We have had success with spay on Anti Skid from Bunnings but the grip has to be totally dry before you apply it or it does not stay on!

Ta Phil, does the spay have a life, do you need to keep re applying
