I have a Naish paddle paddle at the moment and i want to cut the blade off and attach a blade i have on my old paddle which i have snapped three times and now weighs as much as my board.I used my old one yesterday and the blade moves through the water much better than the Naish.Any one now who could do this for me on the Goldie?

have you tryed heating slowly where the paddle end and paddle meet then 2 guys and twist it off. Be carful not to heat to much or you will disolve the carbon..

i would do it but no guarantee

Hey Teatree,

We have done exactly what Jacko suggests and worked both times without too many problems.

But I agree, fine point between heating it enough and too much

Nah havent tried that , whats the worst if that fails do you then just cut it off and insert another piece of carbon and join the new blade on?

Cheers
