i've been looking for a better fin for my 14'fw board.dale used a shapers' the axe' as a rudder fin in a 17' going overseas, so i tried one. the axe really drives the board as you paddle hard. also faster i believe. i think they are a really good setup for these newer boards. they need some sanding off the bottom to fit
