Hi all, New to this forum so just introducing myself. Just finished reading a lot of your posts on "land yachting" (very entertaining). I'm hooked. Going to start construction of a LL mini(as per plans) this week. Have always been keen on a "blokart" but could never justify the outlay. From all reports and pics the mini will work equally well. I will keep you posted.
Welcome B7 to this side I built a LLFMini for pretty much the same reasons as you have said Lot of fun both in the building and the sailing Good choice !
No changes required it is a 20yo land yacht sail (lefroy vintage) It was used on the viking land yachts that Paul designed in the early ninties I think Cheers Vic
Welcome Steve If your going to build a LL mini(as per plans) the main suggestion I'd make is to rethink the sequence of welds and by going a round steering head you avoid the need to reshape the polyurethane. Ian
Picked up some Fallshaw wheels today, the steel yesterday, all systems "go". Will post updates in the "construction" thread (and probably a few questions)
