Jimmy didn't want to complain on his first day - the rumours that Daryll had eaten the last intern didn't seem that absurd now

It was a 35 degree day, Chumba had baked beans for lunch and the aircon was not working!

The IT department was quite puzzled by the request to "Move Dave's computer 80cm to the right".

The first version of The Matrix, released in 1978, was a flop.
Here we see the first scene where Neo (Billy Bob Thornton) waits for his Commodore64 to boot, whilst Morpheous (John Candy) plays a prerelease version of Pacman.

Daryll Chumba knew that using a photo of young Jimmy, his work collegue, in his internet dating chatroom was probably wrong and misleading, but hell, she was a former Miss Phucket and that was a chance he didn't want to miss

Allan, you could do with a few less bytes at lunch and a little less ram!

OK, time to end it and get on with the next one.

Special mentions to

- the witty bytes and ram from Bluedog

-the mandatory kiter sledge from Richie - ably set up by his unwitting accomplice, Lotofwind. (in future Lotofwind, don't bowl them short, on leg side, with no pace....
.........it takes the challenge out of it)

....but the winner that tickled my fancy was Carantoc.

"The seabreeze moderators weren't quite the happy family everyone thought they were"

Not only did it give those of us who don't know Laurie and his chief crony a visual, but it also confirmed the sophistication of the computer systems we've long suspected they rely on.

Over to you Carantoc!

Just as a point of interest. The first caption competitions were specifically intended to take the piss out of our kiter cousins.Thats what the caption comp was all about. I've got nothing against kiters. Looks like fun. I have many kiter friends. Here in Brissy we have no problems with kiters.(as they do on the crowded surf breaks in W.A.). I'm just trying to keep tradition alive.. Long live boardies over wetsuits ! God bless the high dangle with board twisty ! Boost away brothers ! Roll on summer.

Cheers .....................

I think all of our kiter jibes in the CC are well intended, and I'm sure that lots of your green thumbs come from many of the kiters who enjoy the CC and have a great sense of humour.

I reckon one day we will see a kiter who has bought himself a pair of yellow boardies and painted red dots on them, just for the laugh.

From my experience, the relationship here in Vic around Port Phillip Bay between Kiters and Windsurfers is also very good. Many people do both, including people who work in the shops.

We should be flattered that guys like Lotofwind enjoy participating in our banter.

At the combined WWA/ WAKSA end of season party a couple of guys (kiters presumably) turned up wearing polka dotted boardies!
