Aren't the kites designed in France by Norbert Curti? Fluid kites look good this year, totally looks like a slingshot rip off but much better than last year. |

Hey man, forget the loser comments. How else are we supposed to find out about new gear?
Great pics & kite graphics look good too. What sort of improvements since last model? Anyone tried them yet?
And more important.. who's butt do I need to kiss to take one out .. when available, what sizes, how much.. you know, the lot.

I've heard its got double the pull of a Fuel in the "wakestyle" setting. The pro-bar (shown) also has 4000lb pre-stretched lines.

rear lines have multiple speed attachments setting
one pump
trimable 5th line
Fluid have a website that should be updated with new stuff very soon. i will have a few to try in the next few weeks and ill post a review (in the review section of course!)

Hi, Hate to say this but I think I'm one of the dudes in the pic's (the good looking one ). I was googling 2010 fluid and this is what I came up with. , the kites are great but I'm not sure how to rate them because I used to use Bow kites, till now that is.
I think what stands out is that you can get more of a bow feel out of it by changing the stiring stettings on it. if you like that.
fast, stable and loopy with just enough bar pressure to know where the kite is at all times. gets up in the window to take you up wind.
I have orderd a few and gave up the bow, cause its more fun with the C. I have only started unhooking so I can't realy coment othere than the chiken loop is stiff so its easy to rehoook. Just waiting for them to get here now.
Cheers. |

I heard from a hobo that these things make great blankets.
Grundy if you get one in Sydney let me know.. You're gonna be ****ting yourself after swapping over from those **** kites you've been doing gay-loops with and I want to see it |

| tried the Vice on the weekend and after a quick session n the 9 and the 11 its going to take some getting used to but its exciting having more power than im used too! loops are definately scareier than usual but the pay off of this kite are definately worth it..... full review after next session. |

Well I finally had a good go on the 9m with 20 to 30knots. This is only the opinion of a crazy dude. Upwind Vector is not as good as bow kites but I don’t think that’s even possible not that I know of any bridleless C shaped kites that do any better that this one, any how if your ready for C kite than you know you need long as fins or carve-a-holic legs. Pops like a rocket compared to the kites that I have had a go on (cabrinia, takoon, liquidfoce), as long as you have wind it does not need any convincing to get up it gust does it, bam! That was nice. If you like you can let go of the bar and keep going and the Vice will stay where you left it. 5th line works like a charm when you lose the bar. The construction of the leading edge and the struts is better than most kites on the market (tuff and some practical smarts) the canopy is the same as all the high end brands. The chicken dick is removable so you can get rid of it. The front string settings will allow you to get more de power out of the kite should you need it but you will get more bar pressure in return not much though. The bar pressure is very nice just enough to give you feed back on the kite.
Looping, I was able to loop the 13m so that’s good I think. Because there is not massive amount of par pressure when you loop the kite I found that I was able to control the loops more than I used to, the power comes from the front lines where it’s needed . Any how if your into C kites and free style I would recommend giving it a go and if there was wind now I would be giving it a go as well#61514; oh if you just into big air and loops like me than its good to. |
