Goodmorning,

Looking for my first SUP. I'm 68KG

Dose anyone have any experience with the Coreban Rockett, I've had a stillwater paddle, and the build quality looks solid.

Thanks in advance for any info....Sav

Hi Savage1,

I have the Rockett. It's my second choice "bigger" board so I don't ride it that much. I have had it out in some good head high punchy beachbreaks and it performed surprisingly well. It is also great fun in average small waves. I think it turns really well for a 10'6 and I like the more pointy nose with a bit of rocker in it. On my board the finish is not as good as some other brands but I think the construction is stong. Normally I wouldn't reccommend it as a first board but at your weight it could be ok. For your reference, I am 87kg and have been supping for just over a year. I only ride my boards in the surf, so I can't comment on flat water performance. Other boards I would look at in the same size range would be Starboard Drive 10'5 and PSH 10'6 wide. I haven't ridden either of them but they both get good reviews from most people.
Good luck.
