weaken from the middle of the week.

Weather Situation - Queensland Gulf of Carpentaria
A high over the western Tasman Sea extends a firm ridge extends along the east
coast of Queensland. The ridge will begin to weaken early next week.

South East Gulf of Carpentaria: QLD-NT Border to Cape Keerweer

Forecast for Sunday 21 December until midnight
Winds: Northeasterly 10 to 15 knots becoming variable about 10 knots in the
early afternoon. Seas: Around 1 metre. Weather: Partly cloudy. 70% chance of

Winds: Variable about 10 knots becoming east to northeasterly 10 to 15 knots
