I don’t care in the least about being in a real surf stance. Whenever I’m at the dock it’s not like there’s any waves anywhere.it’s just a cardio thing.

...well, there are folks here working on rock starts at the Hatch, including using the foilscoot (the latter cracks me up)...and plenty of wake thieving types out there not so interested in flat water cardio, so different strokes.

I'm not interest in the scoot at all, but understand why others (e.g. with hips/backs that can't make the bend for a dockstart) are...

Does anyone have any updates on the availability of the Armstrong Midlength Mk2?
I’m in Europe and pre-ordered the 75L back in May (should have arrived late June), but still haven’t heard anything about when it might finally arrive and not even the dealer gets a reliable update. Sold my old Midlength thinking the new one wouldn’t take this long… so now I’m just waiting, waiting, waiting 😅
I’ve been riding Armstrong for many years and love their gear, but this is getting super frustrating.
Has anyone in Europe received theirs yet, or heard anything about delivery dates?

I think this is a question for your dealer...there have been multiple shipments of these boards arriving in Hood River since you ordered

I tried the Naish and Duotone and was quite impressed by them.
The weight was notticeable when walking to the water, but what makes me really like them was the extra stiffness and sort of bounching of the water when you pump them on foil. For me that was especially with the DW boards a big difference
On a demo day I was able to try the The Naish Chimera 108 hollow and normall one back to back.
The hollow was 100% sure quicker to get on foil and feels lighter/more reactive as the normall one..but they have a steep pricetag and didnt feel that much better as my KT pro carbon (not cheap either).

Would I get one: Very much depending on the shape and pricing. For me it first starts with finding the shape that suits me well and then the construction. I would never get a board for the sake of being hollow.

Wow...opinions based on actual first hand experience! 😂

I'm with you, and waiting to see how the shapes and actual construction develop...seems pointless without a good shape to start with, as a lot of the shapes of conventional boards out now are really good...still early days
