There was and advertisement in a local shipping magazine for deck hands who must have kiting experience and very strong muscles.Probably some ploy to get a few kitters to see the "golden rivet".

Do the deck hands have to wear board shorts over the top of their overalls when this kite is being for use on board of ship ?

and a sideways cap kremlin.

it wont be long until there is an international maritime disaster, when the ship under kite and the ship powered by the giant neil pryde sail, collide when they are both on the same wave.
both skippers maintain they had right of way

What will happen when the Kite hits the water?

1. Kite becomes a giant sea anchor
2. Ship can't stop for miles so runs over the line and tangles it in the props

Huge mess!!!!!!!!!!

Neither do I. I assume its about "cool". There is no accounting for fashion. I just think of it as fun and temporary, but its not that much fun is it. A mistake perhaps. Yeah I dont get it.

That kite will be so slow that you've have to start sending the kite 1/2hr before you wanted to jump. It would be hard to time that with a nice wave. Probably nice and floaty though...

Maybe trucks and trains could use them too! And we could attach some to the ozone to move it back south!!
