Total gimmick IMHO.
It will rely entirely on source material to enjoy. 99% of Teev will be in 2D so wasspoint?
There will now be the need to hunt for the remote
and glasses.

Sit ya fat couch potato butt on a pair and it's off to the shop for (I would assume) at least $100 pair of dork sunnies. As pweedas said a family of 4 needs 4 pairs obviously (unless your just watching 3D skin flicks ey Flysurfer?

) so that would probably mean replacing all 4 once a year or so. Exxy $$
ANYTHING that strobes the vision is to be wary of I reckon and I will definately not be whacking a pair on.Plus I think that 3D (in cinema or otherwise) is soooo average. It is just not impressive TBH. Maybe back in the 60s but I just don't get any thrill out of it at all. Not to mention that SFX based films generally have stodgy acting (all done in front of a green/blue screen) whacked implausible plots and are pizz poor all round.
Yaawwwnn. Next!
