I used to like Subway Sandwiches. They would pack plenty of salad in, even though their tomatoes weren't always the best money could buy!

Haven't been for ages, but they have 6 & 12 inch subs... (and 11 inch subs according to some new articles... suggesting that the 12 inch sub doesn't always measure up! ...)

But I wish they did a 9 inch... 6 isn't really enough, and 12 is probably too much... plus I don't like throwing away food...

Haha yeah I totally know what you mean, but if it tastes good then you can't complain?

I always go 12".
I did 2 x 12' once and regretted it afterwards big time - not sure what I was thinking.

But seriously I agree, 9 would be perfect.

Yep, 9" would be great, 6" is too small and 12" I feel like I've overeaten.

pop the left over 3" in the fridge in a container - choice brekky or pre-surf snack easy peasy

I once went into a subway store and asked the young girl behind the counter for a 12" sub and she replied they only do 6" or footlong.....true story.

Guess when you have been bought up in a metric world the old imperial measurements are a bit hard to get your head around.

15.24cm or a 30.48cm sub would sound a bit funny I think.
