42 knots gusts of 50+
just had 3 chairs fly past me and my bike has been thrown and broke at bits.

anyone else enjoying the gorgeous day?

Will get my old 1m Quokka stunt kite out and start pulling kiteloops soon!

The lightning certainly adds an exciting element too.

Sorry bout your bike Sarz.. could be good bus weather today?

no buses to where i work :( so i have to bike to a station then train then bike. 30+ kms a day.. not that bad.. but still..

only just getting fitter.. thats what i have to tell myself with head winds like today

Yep Leeman was the same after it swung it picked up a lot
lost a couple of roofs and some powerlines.

i heard they shut down the old fremantle bridge because a hotels roof was being blown apart..

On the way in to work they had shut down one lane near the swan because the surf was crashing over the road... Check out the ute in the picture below, it's about to get a nice saltwater rinse:



Funnily enough I didn't see any cyclists on the bike path!

Wind!!!?? You mean moving air? I've heard of this phenomenon. I thought it was a myth ... hmmm, now I'll have to rethink Santa, and God, and leprechauns... The life is short and truth is so elusive. Still this could be a scam.

Fremantle was a mess on Saturday after the storms cleared. Spent all weekend clearing up the bloody Palm Tree's. Got stuck at the North Fremantle Hotel on Friday when they closed the bridge. Good walk home after a few pints in the wind.[}:)]
