JP said - ‎...whats this 'poor fellahs' Kimberly...as a bearded one I have gained on average 5 minutes per day extra sleep in by not shaving....having the beard since 1967 equates to 12410 days x 5 minutes = 62050 minutes or 1034 hours, which is 43 days extra snooze time :-)))))

KJ said - A similar argument can be made for the Burqa too. Time saved without hair, makeup, preening, pruning etc.

JP said - ‎....never thought of that...if I can convince my better half to wear one we would save heaps of drinking time when she's getting ready to go out....sorry Annie, I've just gone off banning the burqa ;-)

LC said - I work with a woman who has a decent beard. I would appreciate it if she occasionally wore a burqa to stop me freaking out when I see her in the female toilets and think I've walked in the wrong door.

AH said - I saw that. I have no drama with them wearing the burqa, but this woman was so rude to the cops. She had no right to call him a racist, he was doing his job. She is not above the law just because she is muslim and wears a burqa. If she doesnt like our law, well there is only 1 thing to do..................go home.

im pretty sure this thread will be good. I cant wear my motorcycle helmet into a bank but you can cover your face with a religious rag mmmm. If i want a beer in the middle east while my girl wants too get a tan in her bikini,do you think their laws would care if i called them racist? hahahahahah we are so pc it it makes me sick. Anglos, catholics and any non muslim should leave this just and fair country now!

i definitely agree, we cant wear a motor bike helmet into a bank, if we went to their country we would abide by their laws and customs. the cop is just lucky that he had a dash cam in his car or he probably would have lost his job, so if Muslim people get pulled over do they not have to take of their burka, is the photo on their license of them wearing a burka or is it their actual face, if it is their face then they should have to take off their burka any time when they are being asked for id or at security etc
just my 2cents

We have very 'soft' laws & most decisions are based on not offending other countries' religions or beliefs (Pc gone mad)...unfortunately, we're not that soft when it comes to our own!

I don't have an opinion either way on women wearing the burqa in public, but the cops definitely need to be given the power to recognise & identify an individual if they've broken the law, no matter their beliefs.

what would happen if a woman robbed a bank while wearing one. i think the laws would be looked on as practical and forget about pc crap.

I think it was disgusting to say the very least the way she played the "race" card. And now to get away with it after, potentially, jepordising the Coppers career just shows how pathetic WE are as a nation. If I get pulled over I would happily show any ID required and show respect for the police and their position. Equally shocking I felt was the way the rest of her moronic supporters were allowed to act outside the court, (reminded me of the scenes we see on the news of the countries they have come from). It's about time these types were forced to follow our laws or sent packing.

I think she's a idiot with a particular barrow to push. As opposed to the general idiot out there of which there are many. But she's pushing the buttons and they're responding exactly as she wants so she's the smarter idiot. If you want to be even smarter, stop responding as she wants.

BTW the cop was not "lucky" he had a camera going. It was put there precisely for situations like these. You think she's the only idiot or ar$ehole that the cops have to deal with?
