We have been planning Christmas for nearly the whole year. Putting presents on layby when we see something that we think the kids will like, then spending half the day on Christmas Eve just wrapping the ridiculous amount of presents that we ended up buying.
5:00am the boys wake up and come running into our room screaming with excitement, "SANTA'S BEEN!!! SANTA'S BEEN!!!"
The kids make sure you get out of bed quickly, no time to just ease into the morning, they then get really excited when they realise that ALL the presents under the tree belong to them.
Then by 5:05am, ALL presents have been opened, there is paper and boxes all over the nice clean house, and the exciting part of Christmas is all over.
The look on my kids faces this morning (and every other Christmas before hand) makes it all worth it!!! I can't wait to do it all again next year!!
