I'm going to buy three new Albums this week
so i need your help.....

What three albums do you believe the world has to hear.

Not necessarily your top 3 favs but Albums in your opinion which have been most influential in their genres.

Mine are

Pixies - Dolittle
Black Roots - Black Roots or Frontline
The Beales - White album

Jimi Hendrix....Are You Experienced.
The Police......Reggatta de Blanc.

It's very hard to stop at three.

Don't have access to all my cd's atm but Most Influential:

Santana - not sure which is the most influential in there day but the latest "Ultimate" includes the best and the latest collaborations which are just magic

Aerosmith - again several albums but "Young Lust" is my compilation pick

Metallica - "Vertigo"

Others of my favourites:

Faith No More - "Who Cares A Lot"
Rammstein - "Mutter"
Live - "Bird of Pred"
Evanescence - "Anywhere But Home"
Savage Garden - "Affirmation"

Don;t call me "gay" for the last two - but the music is brilliant in defining the times.
_____________________________________________

All right, all right enough gay calling [}:)] - can the last two and include:

Dire Straits - "Brother in Arms"

ACDC - "Back in Black"

They tell the story of music of those times.

You're super gay!

Relative...
Check out Eddie Veddar - Into the Wild. He does the whole soundtrack to the movie...awesome.
Radiohead - Rainbows
Kings of Leon - Aha Shake Heartbreak or Because of the Times
Muse - Blackholes and Relevations
The Mess Hall - forget the name of the album but they've only got 1!

If you're after something a little poppier - Old Man River...gets you stoked on anything...or Shout Out Louds (Awesome swedish band). Ziggurats by the Beautiful GIrls is pretty good...it's almost a reincarnation of the Police!

Blues/roots - definitely White Moth by Mr. Xavier Rudd or anything by Ash Grumwold.

LOL - damn, now I have to re-evaluate my whole life, or just those two albums.

Mind you, I have been eyeing off some colourful fluoro boardies to wear over my wetsuit now that winters coming - winter is so much more fashionable on the water. I think I'm turning to the other side - next i'll be dreaming of doing flippy skips (or whatever the latest terms they use) whilst hanging onto some strings.
