As an anti-vaxxer, would you agree with the following logic:

1. You don't need a vaccine as it is not required for you to be safe from this virus

2. Vaccines are dangerous and should not be mandatory

3. You will not catch the virus anyway because it is not real/not as bad as they say/only a problem for other people

Therefore, would you accept that it makes sense for you and people like you to be deliberately exposed to the virus. If it is real you will probably catch it. If it is not real, you won't. Once you have caught the virus you will find out if its not dangerous or if it is. Either way you will know.

How about it? Volunteer to get exposed to the virus, and help people out. Best case you will know the truth. Worst case you will be immune and help the rest of us with herd immnity. You will also not have to give in to taking a vaccine. No nasty vaccine to worry about, but immunity once you are over the virus.

Maybe it would be a good idea to collect up all the people that disagree with vaccines and have them work at a medi-hotel somewhere remote? That way the returned people would have someone to look after them and you would find out if the virus is a real problem or not?

So a real life situation for you to contemplate.
I live in France, my father inlaw is in his late 70's and has various ongoing health problems so a very weak immune system. He has been to see his specialist in Monaco recently.
The specialist said " there is a very small risk the vaccine could have a bad outcome for you(death) there is a very high risk of catching the virus and a very,very high risk it will kill you in your situation. So what do you do??
We need to stop the spread of this as quick as possible. The doctor was for vaccinations.
They are very open about the risks here and telling people that have any sort of allergy or reaction to past vaccines probably shouldn't take it.
If I was in Australia I wouldn't be so keen. But in other parts of the world hospitals are overflowing again.
Should governments be doing something else rather than forcing people to be vaccinated? Go back into full lockdown again?

In various parts of the U.K. restrictions extend to tier 4 and 5.

In Spain and Italy there have been many protests against the harsh lockdowns.

How long do the people have to live under such restrictions? Part of a new normal perhaps?

In the doco I posted yesterday they made the very valid point that those who lost their lives in the First and Second World War supposedly fighting to preserve freedom will be turning in their graves at the loss of freedom now happening in Europe.

In the doco it mentions these new vaccines use synthetic made viruses not wild viruses a point I was not aware of.

But I guess the doco is still crap.

I guess the good news is that if you dont get the jab you wont be allowed in most business (pubs, shopping centers, restaurants etc.)
Or be able to use public transport or travel by plane. Thats a win win situation.
The anti vaxers get wiped out by CV, and while thats happening, we dont have to be around them listening to their complaining cause they wont be allowed to enter anywhere, but their own houses.

I think they should also ban anyone who doesn't get the jab from the internet.

Contagiousness increases with age, as does susceptibility. IIRC Sweden had not a single fatality in their schools, including amongst teaching staff.

What is this BS about people that lost their lives turning in their graves from loss of freedoms? Absolute rubbish!!

If anything they would be thinking of how precious life is and how it can be snuffed out for stupid reasons.

The ones that actually survived these wars would be thinking the same thing, in understanding how fragile life can be, and then seeing the pandemic that followed WW1. Lots of these people would have gone off or been sent off to war and then found the harsh realities of it was that sometimes you died regardless of anything you did. There is no fairness. There is no reward for dying for freedom.

They would be looking at twits on social media wondering why they fought only to have idiots that knew nothing about the subject preaching about how a good diet can prevent a virus.

I think you could argue that lots of food was Organic in 1918, but it still didn't stop millions from dying from the flu.

My wife is a teacher and one of her classes(year 12) of over 20 students there are only 2 left. All the others, at least 6 have it and the others are direct contact so have to quarantine. No they don't die but they spread it rapidly. They also have really bad lungs after and struggle to do any sport. Who knows in a year or 2 what the long term affects will be.
These are not my opinions but should we vaccinate the people that spread it or the people that are going to die from it first. Not an easy call.
Some top doctors in Paris are now saying we need to change tactic and stop the spread.
