I've always wanted to know, what exactly is WA's most bogan suburb? Hopefully this will settle the matter once and for all.

I voted for Nollamara.

Where are you from again?

I was partly raised in Kenwick and that place is not even fit for boguns these days. Didn't even see a jetski last time I bolted through there.

Vote 1 Kenwick.

When we were in Perth last year I though Armadale and Rockingham were suburbs where the VC Commodore, tracky dack and ugg boot brigades were out in force. People there were quite friendly too.

Westfield near Armadale would be my pick.

I grew up in Mosman Park and back then it would have been right up there if the same vote was taken. Battle Street and surrounding streets were a no-go zone, the best restaurant was the Gar Lok (some say it still is) and the car park at the Mosman Park hotel was either a boxing ring or burn-out comp venue.

The change from bogun was complete when the rugby league club folded, pub was turned into flats and the TAB became an Art Gallery.

Also Subiaco Oval this Sunday afternoon when Port Adelaide are playing Freo

What I can't believe is nobody has mentioned Kwinana in this thread yet.

Isn't that a satelite suburb of Kenwick?

Diver. Where did Battle street go?? I was back there recently and for the life of me couldn't find it. It wasn't in the street directory and I can't find it on google maps. Was it so violent they dug it up. I can remember the Battle street flats but couldn't find them as well.

Yeah but ppl always think of Perth.

Maybe they need to think of some parts of Albany, Bunbury (Eaton and Australind?) , most of Collie, anywhere that has a Ute Muster, the Wheatbelt, Great Southern, the Goldfields, Nannup (strewth!), half of Gero (the half that doesn't surf or windsurf), and anything north of the 26th parallel.

Battle Street became Murray Avenue and the Battle Street flats were sold off by Homewest and all are privately owned now.
