I havent had much experience doin water sports,just wondering if it would make it harde rto learn how to kitesurf or surfas im interested in learning both.If anyone can give a bit of advice i would appreciate it.Thanks

Surfing takes longer to learn and hours of practice just to be able to go across the face of the wave and to even start to look like you know what your doing. Also longer to get into some decent waves. But kitesurfing just takes at most 3 lots of 3 hour lessons and your away. kiting is also more expensive. Just learn both so you can kite in summer and surf in winter or just go straight to the top of the class and learn to windsurf, then you wont wanna kite or surf. Windsurfing is basically surfing using the wind. Wave riding is the ultimate level of achievement on any board type. It's just what you choose to ride it with? Stay away from the esky at all costs. They are for pimple popping grommets

No they ain't

They are also for fat old baskets who can't afford to go to the Chiropracteor after each surf

thanks for the help,do u know how much it cost to start up kiting and surfing.Do you live in perth btw?,maybe u could help out with some surfing or kiting practice

odelea01, i have a surfboard you can have for $50. Not the prettiest board ever but it's great for learners!

call me zero-four-zero-3156020

(and Windsurfer's on the money. surf in winter, windsurf in summer)

Well you said you didn't have much water sport experience.
If You're kiting a kilometer or more off shore and something goes wrong, it'd be handy to be able to swim back!!!!!
