Where do you go to find out about beach closures?

Apparently Hilarys and nearby beaches have been closed for 4 days due to shark sightings and I didn't hear about this until today, when they reported on the news that the beach will be open tomorrow. Too late.

I could have been fish food!!!

So I've put in a little request to Laurie to stick beach closure info on our beloved sight but while he figures out how to do it , where else can I find out?
