I'm starting the search for a used van. I've been looking on carsales but their site is slow and frustrating. What other sites are there to look for cars on?

Try the advanced search?

The only thing I find frustrating about their search is that you can't filter out makes you don't want.

For example I sometimes like to dream about a V8 as my next car, but not remotely interested in a falcodore/dunnydore/commonwhore etc. I can't drive a Commodore or Falcon, end of story. Call me a car snob but I'm not interested in a boganmobile. Yet if I search for V8 then 95% of results are those 2.

Yes, Carsales is a bit slow... from time to time...

But, your best bet is to stick with it... Carsales has the biggest market as far as I can see.

When I buy & sell "motors" (cars or motorbikes), carsales/bikesales is usually the ultimate location for the buy and the sell. I did buy a bike from Trading Post once, but I was also actively looking on Bikesales.

Local malls, supa centres, ikea, streets around train stations... any large parking lot.
