makes the road seem like a kid's bedtime story.
They say it's his masterpiece, and one of the best american novels ever written.
about scalphunters in the wild west. very violent, and artistic. difficult to read. but very good.

I read The Road without stopping, it sucks you in. Talk about tearing your heart out, first time I've ever really, really needed a (somewhat) happy ending. Movie was OK but it's a bit hard to convey what was in the book on the screen, like the pitch black night scenes.

yeah, the road is awesome also...and I only just saw the movie but I thought it was the best film adaptation I have ever seen. everything as I imagined

so nothing like 'the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy' adaptation.
Man I swear nobody must have read the book before making the movie.
Ford was played by a black fella no less...sheesh
