G'day all,
Just wondering if anybody has struck anything like 'boat swapping'... along same lines as 'house swapping'? I'm thinking probably marina or mooring situations, where the boat is also (and perhaps only) used as holiday or short stay accommodation.
I'm aware that many marinas and clubs don't allow 'live aboard' as such, but there must be some somewhere that do maybe?
Perhaps there are too many issues with risk and insurance?
Just thinking it could present opportunities for boat owners either up and down coastlines or even interstate to help each other out with cheap holidays, a change of scenery or perhaps a try before you buy situation?
Interested in other's thoughts.
Cheers.

Yeah they have this in all sorts of formats all over the world. Old boy was gonna swap with canal boat in europe. Prosail is a bit like a timeshare club.
