We are looking for a live in Nanny / Au Pair / Housekeeper / Cleaner in our home at beautiful Brighton - by the sea - ideally for a minimum of 6 months. We are located one house back from the beautiful beach and foreshore which is one of Australias premier Kite Surfing hotspots . Just 50m or so the other direction are great local shops (including kite surfing shop) and public transport! Brisbane CBD is just 35 minutes by public transport which is awesome if you also want to study, explore or get part time work.

The applicant MUST have current driving license and be honest, reliable, respect kids, be clean and fun loving. You will be required to do 20-30 hours per week, mainly in the early morning and late afternoon/early evening by negotiation. You will also be required to stay in one night a week most weeks to "babysit" (kids sleeping) while we take some time out ;0) (also arranged so mutually suitable).
You will be living in a quiet, safe and friendly family home complete with wireless internet access, and your own TV. A phone line can be provided for cheap landline calls and incoming calls as part of our arrangement if that is important to you (we pay access, you pay calls).

You will be required to assist in day to day running of our household consisting of a 2 and 5 year old, 2 adults and a few pets. Both kids go to school / day care and so drop-off and pick-up from school/playgroup may be required. Hence current driving license is a MUST. Family car may be provided for family use if you do not own a car but the latter is preferred.

General housekeeping is a big part of this role and includes (but not limited to) cooking, vacuuming, mopping floor, shower cleaning, laundry, dusting, ironing, some gardening, pet care etc.

Food and accommodation is included - your own room and use of infrequently used downstairs bathroom

If where we live and the described role resonates with you, please send me an email with your resume and references to discuss further.

Kind regards

Paul

lol,

i doubt he will find anyone decent though. that sounds like a crap job.

there's no way anyone could do all of that in 20-30 hours a week. you'd need at least 50 hours.

lets see.

drop kids off at school - 1hr
clean - 2 hours
pick up kids - 1 hr
look after young kids from 3.30 till 7.30pm - 4 hours
(this includes cooking)

so that's a minimum of 40 hours for the week

then say 3 hours each day for cleaning on weekends

so that's 46hours

then there is the stay in min 1 night per week for "babysit"

well that's another 4 hours there.

so that's 50 hours all up absolute min not including days when kids are home from care sick.

At least its a job but not a good job for a windsurfer/kiter. Perhaps the afternoon care could consist of taking the kids down to the beach and letting them play while you are out on the water. Dinner would be takeaway on the way back home.

sure thing mate, i am 110% suitable for this job, will even bone the misses if you need it done (we can also arranged so mutually suitable)

my only problem is i live in iraq, my names john smith, if you could send me an air fair ticket money through western union that would be great , the fare would need to be first class as in my previous service as a seargent i sustained an injury trying to move some valuables so a first class air fair would be needed - you know Occuptationl health and safety ecetera, also a little extra money so i can buy some toys for the kids would be a great idea - can buy duty free ak47 for a grand here.. would weld the muzzle up of course for the boy and for the girl some saddam dolls...statue size.... real cheap too for another grand.... so all up send me 15k... looking forward to meeting you guys... sounds dreamy where you live.

cheers .. will mssg you in private since the internet is full of scammers that might try to rip me off my western union account.

why would you need a "time out" night? It looks like you would never see the kids anyway!
