Howdy all, i need some advice.
I am a female school teacher who has taken on an elective subject to teach, it is outdoor education with high school students.
Our first project is to build a couple of land yachts in our metal work rooms and hopefully sail them on the lake.
My lack of expertise in this area, never built a yacht, never sailed, never been on a salt lake is very limiting to my enthusaisum to make this project wonderful for the students. I have built lots of things so im not scared of the building side of things, just the plans and where to get the materials.
Any advice would be wonderful, ie plans, pricing, what to watch out for, eyc, etc.

The designer (Paul Day or Landyacht on ths forum) is a great guy and would be more than happy to assist in any way you might need.
