Burnt Toast?

Hey folks,

Just gonna chuck one at you -

Anyone ever smelt 'burnt toast' at the end of a nice seabreeze on the river round Melville (Lucky bay) side? Smells somewhat like burnt toast and I smell it almost every time the breeze kicks slightly east at the end of a nice afternoon breeze. Might be some industry pumping something into the sky nearby, but it always makes me hungry!

You sure its not the smell of burning epoxy as your burning up the water

Lately I have smelt the coffee but I don't think it's coming from Point Walter, wrong direction.
Better than what we used to get, the stink from Cockburn Cement.

Was there last night,(lucky bay) didn’t get any smell, and being an ex smoker, usually can pick up any new unusual like that.
But when I got home, wife complained real quick, saying "you must have been in the river, take a shower you smell like dirty smelly river water," And I thought the river was as pure as driven snow

So when am I coming over your place Reli for old boot soup and rat poo pudding?
I will bring a cardboard box warming present for you... scraps from the local fruit and veg shop wrapped in last years SundayTimes which we can use later for doonas when we snuggle in front of the Post Office
