When I was younger I used to prefer cashews, but now I am approaching middle age I prefer almonds.
Anyone else notice a similar change?

I go with Woolies Delux mixed... I handle them to remove a lot of the EXCESS salt.
But I like the Macadamias and Pistachios... nothing's changed.
Raw/fresh Pistachios taste really good too.

I've never liked big old wrinkly nuts.
Seriously, I came here expecting
someone
had come out of the closet. Slightly disappointed.
I like isocol on my nuts.

They are peanuts, salted and boiled in their shells. A bit like Vegemite. You either love them or you hate them.

Bum nuts are another favourite of mine.
Three of them for breakfast most days gives you a good protein base upon which to build your day. Really great scrambled with some grated parmesan, shredded capsicum and fresh ground pepper.
