SMS has sent a message to everyone in your Google Plus Circles indicating your current location and that you will shortly be attacked by a shark. You will receive a 15% discount on emergency medical services if someone from your Circles informs [Hospital] of your imminent arrival.

This system is a good start but here is a even better system right here in Perth that will be sent out for crowd funding shortly. Sadly i'm not that good with technical info but there is a lot that will be put up to show just who easy this could and Will be implemented.

To be honest there is a lot of very good technology out their that is on the cusp of being launched and with costs like $1.2 plus million for 13 weeks of drum lines, these systems will roll out comparatively under that, as once the system is in place it has long term life span.

It will make beaches better protected, but won't really help out of the way spots and i guess thats the concern that many WA surfers seem to have.

But its good to see local business getting involved to pick up the slack
