Go the 2k option with no dual mass. It will be a bit different to drive but you will get used to it.

There may well be someone over your way that can rebuild your knackered clutch for you with better materials than the original.

Try contacting clutch and brake specialists, if that doesnt work- give the "Hot Rod" clubs or speedway and motor racing fabricators a call.
They will know who does this sort of work.

My heavy duty custom clutches for V6 ford capri's ended up costing about 2/3's of an original, while uprated clutches for Fiat twin cams with a few dollars cheaper than originals- and they all lasted heaps longer.

I took Mark_australia's advice on a BStone light truck tyre - G8 ..
I don't suppose a tougher than (IMHO sub-)standard clutch comes cheapish

2k is average, my V8 clutch cost about that and that was with dual mass flywheel, I wish I could change it to a sigle now tho..

Single fly after market (Safari Tuff - not the HD - Ducks nuts eh!!) have tried a few specialists - all on the same song sheet. (SN - Basically it is out with the old in with the new - can't do much with stuffed dual mass).
With something like this I hate finding out after the job that the Garage shops the work to another and doubles the labour charge for their show room support fund.

My neighbour's mate may help out with a better quote Monday...

Now that I understand dual mass concept (ThankU Stu) - it can't be any worse than the SWBase LCruiser (U remember the WHoopieeee + 410k on the clock) used to chug thru the bull dust out west during the 80's.
