Anyone out there help with this.
I have a VT II Commodore wagon and the larger of the 2 fold down rear seats (left hand side) has stuck in the down position from the bloody seatbelt locking.
I have tried everything to no avail.
I can raise it about 6 inches but the belt has locked and you cant get enough leverage or slack to unlock it.
Thanks.

Trade the car in on a VY or a large van

Might have the wrong model, but isnt there a release lever on whats normally the back of the seat?

Not the button at the top of the seat that lets you fold it down, but at the base of the seat back.

Thanks all, I reckon thats the answer.
Grumps, Using that lever is how I got the seat raised a little bit but its locked.
The belt is the middle one which comes out of the seat back itself.
Ill have a look.
