What is your favourite sailing spot (and why) for a particular wind direction? Particularly in SEQ.

Hard decision, home spot is wello and I guess it is my favourite for all directions but i'll try this out...
N- Manly, good chop and shallow sailing area.
NE- Manly... a little more consistent than wello
E- Wello... nice flat behind the sandbank
SE- Wello... definately challenged by Redcliffe Manly but nothing beats the swells out the back at wello and more consistent than manly.
S- Manly (same reason as N)... hard to get consistent anywhere though, Vicky Point a close second- havent sailed there enough
SW- Wello, consistency
W- Wello
NW- Wello

I feel Redcliffe and Vicky point have more to offer than i've seen so these could be good- bump and jump gear I really like redcliffe in south east. Also love sailing the lake, sailed it in NE and SE.

N-NE waves - Wello Eastern side low tide 25+ knots waves 1.5 to 2m break over the reef.
N-NE Flat water - Wello bank Mid to Hight tide smooth as. Lota creek works well at low tide.

Easterlies flat water - Wello bank

SE waves - Redcliffe only sailed there once but I really enjoyed the wave breaks there and the huge swells out the back.Wello comes a close second.
SE flat water - Haven't really got a good flat water spot but prob Wello then Manly.

Southerly waves - Wello you need to dredge out a bit to get to the wind but if you get the right tide the waves step up over the reef there.

Southerly flat water - Manly

Anything from the west - Wello

My overall favourite spot would be Wello. One of only a few spots you can sail in any direction. You can sail Waves or Flat water.
It has showers, toilets and a shop.
