I find the two part clothes hangers that they give you in gyms and hotels really annoying. As though hanger theft is really a dent in their profits..

You know the sort where there is one part that is attached to the rail and another that goes in the shirt..

Fitness first give you one crap hanger in your locker. If you're wearing a suit and coat (this is in Melbourne..) you need four, it means you have to take your trousers off, then your shirt, then your jacket then your overcoat... which is difficult.

Any other examples of cheapness that really piss you off...

We are getting a cheap Henley 'McMansion' home being built next to us in our street, where so many of us have spent fortunes renovating our older homes - that is pissing me right off. On the upside, I can see a valid opportunity to convince wifey to move out of this suburban wasteland to the country/beach real soon - and I think she's hearing me.

go the dunlop volleys', been wearing them since primary school. used to get hassled and teased big time through high school 'cause the private school i went to, all the kids had $300 runners on sport days and doc marten boots through the week, and i had dunlop volleys and rollers.

occasionally when the missus is in new york for work she'll grab me a pair of all-stars, cause they're roughly the price of volleys here ($20 at big w or kame a part)and not $90 like they are here (for canvas shoes what a joke)
Anyway last time she was there she said dunlop volleys were all the rage and were something like US$70 a pair..!

just got a new work clothing issue, and they give us steel cap dunlop volleys.. super frikken awesome..

sorry ginger, cheapness vendettas...?

how about cheap tuesday pizza...?

missus has derby on tuesdays i thought i'd take advantage of a chance for junk and go the cheap tuesday vege pizza.

no cheese

no vegetables... well a few slices of tomato (a fruit) and a couple of pieces of onion

i reckon half the weight of the pizza was salt

never had one on a non cheap tuesday so i can't comment if that is the norm.. but if it is, how can they advertise themselves as being australias prefered pizza.

maybe australias prefered pizza if you prefer crap pizza.

If you are talking about Dominos I think the quality depends on the store. In recent times I've had Dominos from a store on the north shore of Sydney and the Central Coast. The one from the Central Coast was pretty good. The one from Sydney was crap.

Cheapness..... I just tried to ring Jetstar to get some info. After being on hold for about 30 minutes my line dropped out. Thats what you get from a cheapo airline.

Most new houses seem to be built cheaply. Softwood frames on concrete slabs. Not many interior walls. No eves to shade the walls. Poor levels of finishing off.

I bought some Dulop volleys for my apprentice and he was rapped for the first week and then realised how bloody hard they are in the sole compared to the Oliver sports slip on safety shoe that we became used to. Now after just three weeks he has already worn through the toe down to shiny steel so I guess you get what you pay for. Half the price and a quarter as good.

I bought 15m of dvi cable last week for $40 - the cheapest I could find. I tested it out and it fricken works a treat. The most expensive cable for the same length on ebay was over $150. For some lines of products, cheap products perform exactly the same as the more expensive products.

Highlight episodes, Where the writers can't be arsed to come up with a new episode of something and give you a montage clip show of everything you've already seen. What a rip off. Almost as bad as all-singing episodes.
