Just found out Westpac has increased its stop cheque fee from $7.50 to $12.00.
That is a 60% increase. How can they justify that level of increase. It is nothing short of criminal.
Imagine if they put the price of milk up 60% overnight. There would be blood in the streets. It would not be possible. Imagine the price of a new board going up 60% overnight. Yesterday $2,400, today $3,840. The banks however, they can do anything and it is tough chedar if you don't like it.
Great, commonwealth lost my cheque I put into quick deposit bag. I just get a letter says the cheque wasnt there, yeah, but I know I put it in there!!! Had to get it canceld and anew one issued cost me $12. This isnt over yet, been at the counter and confronted manager, they are doing a trace, and maybe they will find it stuck to a guys forehead, due to falling asleep on the job, or some fat girls a$$, wonder how it got there?
