Did anyone see the news tonight?
Offshore from Quinns Rock is a blue whale carcus and a 4 metre white feeding on it

Its said to be washed up on the beach between the Alkimos and Two Rocks tonight

Tomorrow brings wind and swell... looks like I wont be going anywhere north

The Fisheries Dept have put a warning out that more sharks would probably be attracked to it and the 4 metre filmed today feeding on it was a young male as it had no scars and that the female white grows bigger to 6 metres long




An exta awareness of this activity goes out to swimmers, surfers and fisherpersons
