As you all know, next week independent MP Mr John D'Orazio is planning to introduce a bill for a three year trial of Daylight Saving. There are still some MPs that could sway the vote against it and we need to let our local MPs know that we want it (especially if you live in a liberal seat). Here is a link to a list of local MPs and their contact emails. Take a minute to write to them and let them know that you support Daylight Savings. I think the bill is being debated on Tuesday, so we need to email asap!!

WA parliament votes for daylight saving
Australians will have daylight saving in two weeks' time after a bill to introduce the controversial regime passed through the state's upper house.
Daylight saving seemed a dead issue in WA until last month, with state politicians avoiding it after West Australians rejected the regime in three referendums over the past 31 years.
But it will come into effect on December 3 following a whirlwind passage of a new bill through parliament.
The bill was drafted after independent MP John D'Orazio proposed a new piece of legislation to bring in daylight saving.
Liberal MP Matt Birney then proposed a similar one and Labor worked with both men to develop the final bill.
The state's lower house passed this final bill last month after both major parties agreed to allow a free vote on the matter.
But its passage was briefly delayed in the upper house when opposition MPs called for the legislation to go before a parliamentary committee ahead of any vote.
However the legislative council finished debating the issue last week with most members saying they were in favour of daylight saving.
The upper house passed the bill by 21 votes to 10.
Once WA gets daylight saving only Queensland and the Northern Territory will be without it.
